In the 8th Grade students will be learning about American Artists and the history of their country by studying its artists, techniques, and innovations.

American art is rich in cultural traditions from all over the world. At times it

is crude and untutored, at times quite sophisticated, however art is always reflective of the time period and culture in which it was made.
