Picture Retakes are scheduled for Thursday. Retakes are for those students and staff who were absent when pictures were taken last month, and those students who purchased pictures and are not satisfied with them. In this case, bring the complete picture package back to be turned in.

f you will be buying a package, you must get an order form and have the money and form on Thursday. You may get these forms from the CRR, the back or front offices.
All School Fundraiser: Our one and only all school fundraiser begins on Friday, and ends Friday, Oct. 24th. On Friday you will receive your fundraising packets. More information to follow as that time draws near.
Attention boys interested in playing basketball for McMillan. Tryouts begin Monday October 13 after school in the gym. All boys need to sign-up before October 13 with Mr. Mayberger in room 161 before or after school, or with Mr. Bryson during lunch. All boys need a current physical, insurance, and contract. Students who do not sign-up will not be allowed to tryout. There will be open gym today and Thursday from 2:50 until 4:00 pm for those boys who signed up to try out.
Attention any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in competing for the McMillan Girls Swim Team. The first practice will be next Monday, October 13th. Make sure you have a physical, insurance and contract all filled out and signed before Monday. The Swim Team meeting will be after school on Monday. If you can not make the meeting see Mrs. Parfitt after school sometime this week.

There will be tryouts for any 7th or 8th grade girls interested in Girl’s Basketball at the North Omaha Boys and Girls Club today and Thursday. The try-out time is 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Girls will play 30-40 games against some of the best teams in Omaha and the surrounding areas.
Lions Pride is adding a Walking/Running Club program after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Courses have been measured out on McMillan’s property and you may run/walk on your own and keep track of your distance on a mileage log. When students or staff reach set milestones, for example, 25 miles, 50 miles, 100 miles, etc. miles will be posted on the wellness board outside of Ms. Wilson’s office. See Ms. Premer if you are interested.
On Friday the Lightweight Football Team will play Buffett at North and the Heavyweight Team will play Morton at Morton.
