Weekly, Mrs. Pass will announce the Word of the Week. She will announce it on Monday and will repeat it every day of the week. Students are to record the word and the definition on Pg. 9 of their student planner. 

Words of the Week

Week 1- Ambitiousness: having an eager of strong desire to achieive fame, power, or success.

Week 2- Citizenship: being a native or naturalized member of a state or country who owes allegiance to his or her government and is entitled to its protection.

Week 3-Compassion:being aware of the burdens or problems of others and wanting to do something to help.

Week 4-Courtesy:being polite, having good manners, and acting appropriately.

Week 5-Diligence:working with great effort and care.

Week 6-Responsibility:demonstrating dependibility.

Week 7-Cooperation:working together for a common good.

Week 8-Courage:the quality of mind or spirit that enables a person to face difficulty, danger, pain, etc., without fear; bravery.

Week 9-Integrity:a steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code-doing what you know is right.

Week 10-Tolerance:beliving everyone has the right to be different.

Week 11-Reliability:Being dependable and trustworthy.
