Charm School
Charm School
Charm School is a new after school program. It is taught by Ms. Emery, security guard, and it is for girls only. There are no requirements to join; a student just has to be ready to learn. “Having the girls act like young ladies,” is what Emery hopes to accomplish.
Charm School meetings are held every Monday after school, from 3:30-4:30, in room 156. Emery encourages all girls to check it out. She said she wants to teach life skills and make them understand that they are queens. “I joined because I knew it can better me as a person,” said Sharesha Mapp, 8. “I also wanted to learn politeness and become more like a lady.”

The girls will be taught social skills and manners. “I had it when I was in elementary, and I though it was something to offer,” said Ms. Emery.
