The school year is off and running and so is the McMillan PTO. A HUGE thank you to all who volunteered at Back to School night, picture day, and Open House! The Open House bake sale raised almost $400.00! Thanks to all who donated so many yummy treats!
Many thanks to the members of the National Junior Honor Society for donating their time and energy to make Open House such a success. They worked hard setting up, and cleaning up after the evening's activities. The PTO really appreciates all their efforts.
The PTO membership drive is off to a great start! To date, we have 84 member families. To become a member, stop by the office or send $5.00 to Mrs. Cheryl Carlson at school. Please include your name and a phone #/email address.
McMillan Spirit Gear is always available for purchase from the school office. We have T-shirts, zippered or pullover hoodies, and sweatpants available to show your Monarch Spirit! PTO members receive 10% off their McMillan Spirit Gear purchase.
Our next PTO meeting is Monday, October 5th from 4 to 5pm in the office conference room. This is a great way to become involved with your student's education.
