Welcome and thank you for visiting the McMillan Magnet Center web page. The vision at McMillan Magnet Center is to provide educational opportunities, which enable all students to achieve their highest potential.
The staff at McMillan Magnet Center is committed to the belief that all students can learn and succeed in a productive, orderly, safe, and challenging learning environment. The mission of McMillan Magnet Center is to advance student achievement by providing an innovative, standards-based curriculum taught in a safe, positive, diverse, and inclusive learning environment. We are proud of the fact we also can provide all of our students’ unique educational opportunities in the areas of technology, math, engineering, and communication arts.
We have high expectations for all our students in the classroom, school common areas, and during our school events. McMillan students are expected to be good citizens and knowledgeable of their rights and privileges. They should also be aware of their responsibilities to themselves and to others in order to be contributing members of a changing society.
To help us achieve our goals, we encourage you to involve yourself in our children’s ongoing educational development. Close cooperation between students, staff, parents, and the community is the key to enable students to reach their highest potential.
