Tip #1 - Be well rested. Get a good night's sleep each night before the tests.
Tip #2 - Eat a healthy breakfast. Remember you can eat breakfast at school from 7:15 - 7:30.

Day 2 - March 6
Tip #1 - Read the questions for a selection first - Then read the selection.
Tip #2 - Pace yourself throughout the test.
Do not spend too much time on any one question.
If a question is too difficult, choose the answer you think is best and go on to the next question.
Tip #3 - Go back and look at your answers.
Do not change an answer unless you are sure that the first answer you picked is not correct.

Day 3 - March 7
Tip #1 - Carefully mark the answer sheet.
Fill in the answer oval completely.
Avoid unnecessary marks.
Tip #2 - Every now and then, check to make sure the test question number and the answer sheet number are the same.
If the numbers are off, the machine that scores the test won't know they're off.
Tip #3 - Skip the questions you don't know and return to them later.
Do not waste a lot of time on one question until you've answered those questions that you do know.

Tip #1 - Narrow your answer choices.
Eliminate the answers you know aren't possible.
Pick the best answer from those choices left.
Tip #2 - Watch for words like always, never, all, and none.
These words usually include or exclude most responses.
Tip #3 - Go back and look at your answers.
Do not change an answer unless you are sure that the first answer you picked is not correct.
