Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) Tests

In April, all students in grades 3-8 and 11 will participate in the Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) tests.  The NeSA-Reading tests will provide parents, students, and teachers with an assessment of student progress in mastering basic skills based on Nebraska’s Reading Standards.  The NeSA-Reading test will be given to students in two un-timed testing sessions.  NeSA-Reading results will be provided to schools and parents in the fall of 2010.

To prepare for the April testing, the Nebraska Department of Education is providing student tutorials online.  The tutorials are designed to instruct students and teachers on the features of the testing software.  The tutorials provide a description of the features of the NeSA testing.  If you wish to access the tutorials, go the https://ne.drcedirect.com and select Online Testing Software Downloads.  From the NeSA home page, the tutorials may be taken online without downloading any links or software to the computer.

Some schools have also volunteered to participate in a sample of the new Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA) test for math.  The official NeSA-Math test will be given to all students in grades 3-8 and 11 and reported during the 2010-11 school year.

Exámenes de Nebraska State Accountability (NeSA)
