Welcome to Ms. Meister's home page! 

This year is devoted to the success of our students who have special needs.  I am continously working with the 7B teachers to facilitate greater learning for all students.  It is my pleasure to have the opportunity to co-teach with the 7B teachers in a cooperative setting that allows all of our Special Education students to be fully included in classroom learning.

King Science and Technology Magnet is such a great school for many reasons, but one of those is the fact that we are using a full inclusion model.  This means that all of our Special Education students are out in classes with their peers.  This gives all of our students the chance to learn not only academics but social skills as well in the mainstream setting.

 I graduated in May of 2007 from the University of Nebraska at Lincoln with my Bachelor's of Education in the field of Special Education, grades K-9.  While in Lincoln, my biggest passion was being a member of the Cornhusker Marching Band. I am an Omaha native and am proud to be part of the OPS work force!  When I am not at work, I enjoy spending time with my family and my two cats.
