Dear Family,
The Parent Teacher Association (PTA) wants you to be a part of our team! Our mission is to provide support for the academic environment and social atmosphere at our school. We accomplish this by becoming a PTA member, coordinating sponsored activities, volunteering time and fundraising.
As a vital member of the PTA you have the opportunity to meet other parents, reinforce to your child that you are interested in their education, increase communication with the teachers, and keep informed of what is happening at the school.
The PTA meetings for the 2008-2009 school year are 08/19, 09/09, 10/14, 11/11, 01/13, 02/10, 03/10, 04/14, 05/12. The meetings are from 6:00pm till 7:30pm in room 216.
The PTA Committee looks forward to meeting you and working as a team to make a difference for teachers, students and parents at King Science & Technology Magnet Center. Please feel free to call me with any questions at 934-8834.
