Reading 7

Reading Renaissance focuses on helping students improve their reading comprehension skills.  Students will read a variety of materials from both fiction and nonfiction resources, inside and outside of class.  Students will also study and apply appropriate reading strategies to the content areas, which they are studying.  Students will also take Reading Practice Quizzes over individually selected reading books from the library. as part of the Accelerated Reading program.

 Soar to Success is a reading program focused on helping below average readers increase their reading skills.  Goals are accomplished through fast-paced, structured lessons using narrative and expository literature, graphic organizers and strategic teaching strategies.
