This year we will embark on a journey that will take us from   the native inhabitants of the US through its fight for freedom in the American Revolutionary War. We will cover such topics as "Geograpy of the US", "Early Exploration", "English Settlements", and so many more. Through the use of the History Alive! text, other supplemental materials, and hands-on activities, we will go beyond conventional "textbook learning" to create a more meaningful learning experience. I look forward to the adventure and growth that will take place this year!
