Hello! My name is Samantha Matulka. Thank you for stopping by my webpage. This is my first year at Alice Buffett Magnet Middle School. Prior to this, I was substituting in a variety of classrooms for several different schools from the surrounding area of Lincoln, NE. I have a B.M.E. (Bachelor of Music Education) with a vocal emphasis from Nebraska Wesleyan University.
I was thrilled when asked to become part of the Buffett team! I have the privilege of teaching Vocal/General Music to students in grades 5, 7, and 8. My class is a non-performance based music class. Many wonder what that means. Vocal Music is a text driven class, where students will have the opportunity of discovering many aspects about music such as: the history of music, composers, music careers, world music, and much more.
