Hola...Welcome (Bienvenidos) to Mrs. Lundeen's webpage.  I am the 8th grade Spanish teacher here at Buffett.  It is with great pleasure I have been selected to teach Spanish.  In 2006, 2007, and 2008, my students  placed first - sixth in the state of Nebraska on the National Spanish Exam.  I am very proud of those dedicated students. 

I received the STAR Award six years in a row.  This award is given to teachers who continue their education, travel to foreign countries and perhaps teach college classes.  I have taken several student trips to Spain and France.  Teaching Spanish at Metro Community College was a delightful experience for me.  In 2003 I received the NE Outstanding International Language Teacher of the Year Award.

Buffett offers a World Language Club and as a sponsor I am eager to share my passion for the Spanish language, culture, history , food and music. 

I love teaching my five grandchildren Spanish and they call me "Yaya" which is Grama in Spanish.
