As the Magnet Facilitator at Alice Buffett Magnet Middle School, I am responsible for marketing our incredible school to 4th - 6th grade students in the Omaha Public Schools. Students who apply to attend Buffett are selected in the district magnet lottery that occurs in February each year. Once a student becomes a Buffett Bobcat, I work with the students and their families to make sure they have the best possible experience at Buffett. I am also involved in the creation of marketing materials, event planning, curriculum and grant writing, and technology support and training.
