2. Read and comprehend fiction and non-fiction demonstrating understanding of main idea, details, cause and effect, compare and contrast, fact and opinion, inference and chronological order.
3. Predict, clarify, question, and summarize fiction and non-fiction selections.
4. Self-select and independently read both fiction and non-fiction
