Welcome back to Bryan Middle School. I hope all students and families had an enjoyable summer break!!!!
The first week of class will involve reviewing rules and guidelines, and issuing locks and lockers. Students do not need to bring any attire for class.
Students will need a proper athletic t-shirt, shorts, socks, and running shoes to participate during class.
Other recommended items for the student to store in their lockers' is:
- towel
- deodorant (VERY IMPORTANT!!!)
- soap
- shampoo
- hair products (gel, hairspray, mousse)
- brush, comb
- plastic bag
- swimsuit
- extra socks
Students are graded daily with 50 points being earned.
The 50 points consist of:
- 25 points - PARTICIPATION
- 15 points - UNIFORM
- 10 points - ATTITUDE

A new addition to the 8th grade curriculum this school year will be that the Omaha Fire Department will be instructing our students CPR and First Aid. They will become certified in both CPR and First Aid if they pass the course.
I look forward to meeting all the students' and parents this upcoming school year. I will also be coaching the boys' and girls' basketball teams.
