At Bryan Middle School every morning we take the Purple Hands Pledge. Every morning when we students take this pledge we are saying that we are not going to harm ourselves or others with violence or words. We think purple hands mean that we are trying to stop the violence in our community. Our country is taking a spin right now and violence has gone up. If Bryan Middle School can stop the violence here, then I am sure the mayor can stop the violence in our community. Have you ever stopped to think that if the violence in schools go up then that would mean that one or some of your children could get hurt?? Well here at Bryan Middle we are going to get rid of the violence. That is what we think Purple Hands means.
