About Our Program:
The theatre department at South High School offers unique opportunities in theatre performance and production, including utilization of contemporary technological and aesthetic theatre techniques, and professional calibre experiences in performance.

A unique partnership with the Omaha Community Playhouse affords students at South additional experiences in the theatre arts, not available to students at other local schools.

Currently the theatre department produces four productions each year, including a mainstage play, musical, studio play, and improvisation troupe.
