On November 5, several exciting events will take place at Northwest High School. From 7:45-11:00 a.m., the following will occur: 

     • Freshman will take the Explorer test.
     • Sophomores will take the Plan test. 
     • Juniors will participate in Career Seminars and will have the opportunity to complete the ASVAB, a 
       career-interest inventory or may visit colleges of their choice. 
     • Seniors will participate in a planned career-shadowing experience outside of the building

Each of these activities will help insure that your student is prepared to graduate from Northwest High School.

All Northwest students will be dismissed at 11:00 a.m.

From 12:30-7:30 p.m., the teachers at Northwest High School are looking forward to meeting you at our fall parent–teacher conferences.  All teachers will have assigned locations in the cafeteria A, cafeteria B, and the commons.

It is important that you attend these conferences. They represent the best way we have found to let you know how your son or daughter is doing in school.
