Omaha North High Magnet programs offer specialized curriculum and increased resources in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education. STEM education has received a great deal of attention in the press over the past few years. Quite simply, having a well educated and innovative STEM workforce is critical to the economic security and prosperity of the United States. More importantly, a solid STEM education provides all of our children with a strong foundation to "keep the door open" on many opportunities throughout their lives. You and your parents are invited to our Magnet Open House for the 2013-2014 school year on January 26th from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM.
During our open house, you will be given a guided tour of the building, have the opportunity to ask questions of current students, parents and staff. Take the time to make the right decision.

The Haddix Center - a 34,000 square foot STEM addition inspired and initially designed by North students.
Ms. Therse Laux - a media tech teacher and her passion for education and the use of technology.
The Madagacar Project - a project of North engineering students to provide a real-world situation to a difficult problem.
