I am a relative newcomer to the teaching profession. I earned my law degree from George Washington National Law Center, Washington D.C. in 1978 and joined the coporate law firm of Kutak Rock in Omaha, Nebraska. After being a member of that firm for 22 years (16 as a partner), I resigned to student teach, and then teach, Social Studies at Omaha North High Magnet School. I teach Ethnic Studies, Honors Geography and African American History. The salary is significantly less, but the social value is limitless.
