Before employment at North High school, I was involved in research across a variety of fields. I worked for the Florida Department of Environmental Protection for 2 years. I had worked at the Houston Advanced Research Center for 1 year working with micro-plate DNA arrays. I worked for 3 years at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center working on Melanoma research. I worked for 4 years in research and development, as a research Scientist for Alpha Diagnostics International.
