Summer Programs

Since 1987, Omaha North High Magnet School has invited students in grades 5 through 7 to participate in a two-week program to explore the fields of mathematics, engineering, science, and technology,. The camps provide engaging and meaningful learning opportunities for students while introducing campers to problem-solving skills and techniques related to the fields of engineering and science. Camps are taught by Omaha North High Magnet School and McMillan Magnet Center (a feeder middle school to Omaha North,) Our staff consists of Engineering and Science instructors who are trained and certified by Project Lead the Way, a nationally recognized pre-engineering curriculum.
