28 Mr. Anders Christensen has been announced as the new head wrestling coach for Omaha North High Magnet School.
 26 North High will host the Nebraska Association of Student Councils District 8 Convention.  Student councils from Douglas and Sarpy county will be meeting all day to "meet as a district...and develop group and individual leadership skills."
25 As part of the national implementation, North High will observe a "Day of Silence" on April 25.  it is a day on which those people who support creating a safe school for LGBT(Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) people and allies take a 9-hour vow of silence to recognize and protest the harassment, prejudice, and discrimination that LGBT people face.
24 The annual Spring Instrumental Music Concert will be held at 7:00 PM in the Auditorium

The annual Blue & Gold Academic Awards Ceremony for 2008 will be held on April 23.  Parents are invited to join their child for breakfast, a special presentation by a former North High student and the ceremony in the Auditorium.

7-11 School will be closed from April 7 - April 11 for Spring Break. School resumes on April 14.
6 The Annual Viking Baseball Spaghetti Dinner will be held on Sunday, April 6th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at DJ's Dugout at 636 North 114th Street just North of 114th & West Dodge Road.  For more information, please visit the baseball team's website.

On April 4, 2008 at the Holland Center commemoration of the 40th Anniversary of the Fair Housing Act, presented by the Nebraska Equal Opportunities Commission. four of the men's choir (Branden Miller, Shomari Huggins, Keelan Richardson and Johnny Lowe) are going to close the program with the Sam Cooke song, "A Change is Gonna Come".
