The mission of Omaha North High Magnet School is to prepare all students for success in life long studies and careers.

Goals

Excels Plus is the strategic plan for school improvement and accreditation of the Omaha Public Schools. As such, each school has developed its own plan to meet the needs of its students. It is this plan that establishes the building goals.

Goal 1 - Communication: All students will improve reading comprehension across the curriculum..

Goal 2 - Math & Science: All students will improve problem-solving skills across the curriculum. All students will improve scientific inquiry skills across the curriculum.

Goal 3 - Safe & Secure: All students will demonstrate respect and responsibility for others in the learning environment and school activities.

Magnet School Goal: Students will use applications in multimedia technology to support learning and to access, organize and evaluate information.
