Visit this cross country website regularly for updates, results, meet time schedules and other important information.

Practice is from 3:30 to 5:15 Monday through Friday except for pre-meet practices which run from 3:30-4:45. Check practice schedule for Saturday practices. Please pick up your athlete on time.

Students are required to ride the bus to meets when a bus is provided or communicate with the coach. Runners are required to be at the race site 1.5 hours before their race start time.

Shoes: all runners should have a good pair of running training shoes. Racing flats or spikes are recommended for races. “Peak Performance” is the place to get the best service and advice on running shoes. Tell them you are a XC runner at Central High and receive a 15% discount.
What should your child do before a race? What are the important days?
- 2 Days before the meet- This is the most important day for sleep and a good meal.
- The day before the meet- They need to HYDRATE! Plenty of water! Eat healthy!
- Meet Day- Still continue to hydrate and eat a healthy breakfast.

Pasta dinners are held at individual homes the night before each meet. Families sign up to hold them.

Uniforms:
All athletes are checked out warm-ups, and a racing uniform. This equipment needs to be returned within 2 weeks of the conclusion of the season. T-shirts are available for purchase to team members. Runners are required to wear their uniform and Central Cross Country gear to all meets.
