What are the requirements for earning a varsity letter?

Complete the entire season.

Compete in a minimum of 75% of the teams’ meets.

Compete in a minimum of 3 varsity meets or score in a major meet.

Attend practice regularly, arriving on time and prepared to work.

Consistently showing improvement throughout the season.

Being a team leader.
End of the Season Awards:

The end of the season awards are given out at the fall sports banquet after the season.

Most Valuable Runner is given to the runner which means the most to the teams’ overall success throughout the entire season.

Most Improved Runner is given to the runner which has improved the most in practices/meets from the previous year or from the beginning of the season.

Newcomer of the Year is given to the runner who is new to the team and contributed greatly to the teams’ success.
