November 2009 Newsletter

First Quarter Honor Roll
                    

November 21 - Chess Tournament at Central 9:00 am
November 25 - No School for Students -Teacher work day
November 26&27 -  Thanksgiving Recess


Congratulations to:

All of the Central High students who made honor roll first quarter.

The Cast and Crew of the musical "Into the Woods" for their amazing performances Friday and Saturday.

National Merit Semifinalists Rosemary Brusnahan, Emily Epperson, Eric Jizba, Catherine Larsen, Carmen Lau, Theresa Lomneth, Taylor Olson and Alexandria Tran.  This is the most Semifinalists at Central since 1993.

Elijah Skolfield, Jasmyn  McAlister and Samuel Philip for being named Semifinalists in the 2010 National Achievement Scholarship Program.

Commended students in the 2010 National Merit Scholarship Program - Allyson DeBoer, Jesse Reno and Elijah Skolfield.

The Eagle Marching Band for receiving an Excellent rating at the Omaha Marching Invitational on October 17th.

The Volleyball Team for taking first place in the Omaha South Invitational
