Honors JROTC

Since the 2002-2003 school year Burke High School has offered Honors Junior ROTC for 3rd and 4th year cadets.

Honors 3rd Year Junior ROTC
 (Leadership, Education, and Training- LET3)
This course will incorporate all the requirements of 3rd Year Junior ROTC. Cadets participating must receive a teacher's letter of recommendation. In addition, cadets will have required readings on selected roles performed by the army. One research paper per quarter on assigned topics. Two community service projects or 5 school service projects per semester. Students will present one period of instruction per quarter, in addition to normal 3rd year Junior ROTC course work. 

Honors 4th Year Junior ROTC
(Leadership, Education, and Training- LET 4)
