The purpose of the ESL program is to prepare students who have limited proficiency in English for the mainstream classroom. We use a variety of listening, speaking, reading, and writing activities to accomplish this goal.
Burke is very fortunate to have an extremely diverse group of students. To date, we have over 70 students from 10 different countries. We enjoy learning about all aspects of each other's cultures.
