On behalf of the National Honor Society, I would like to extend a HUGE THANKS to all those who helped with the 2007 Bryan High Boo Bash. Without those who have volunteered their time, effort, sweat, in most cases, money....we do appreciate it greatly.
Also, thank you to people willing to come during the football game to supervise. Since it was on a Saturday, there really weren't a lot of extra kids hanging around to chase away....kinda liked that, you know. Also, thank you to the staff who attended with their kids, grandkids, nieces and nephews during the festivities. We had approximately 700 people attend. Last year was around 1500, so the numbers were definitely down....not sure if it was because of the change to Saturday, the UNL game, Treat Street in C.B., Gifford Farm activities, Spook-A-Rama in Papio....or possibly all of the above. I won't know poundage of food items until next week when they send a letter.
Once again, thank you for all who help make this event a success. Even though the numbers were down, people had an awesome time. The balloon area was (bleeping) awesome....Mario World was the coolest (can't wait to see what you come up with next year). Please pass the congrats to the kids (and clowns) who participated....much work goes on behind the scenes.
I would really like for sponsors, supervision peoples and staff who attended the event to drop me an e-mail with what they liked, what they think could be improved on, etc. I need to know if the Saturday was good, bad, or ugly for all involved...next year could go either way...need your input. I already have some ideas for next year to change it up a bit.
Thanks.
Mrs. Krystal Kolb
