Attendance Message to Parents/Guardians
Under Legislative Bill 800, all school districts in Nebraska are required to report to the County Attorney all students who are absent for more than twenty days per year or the hourly equivalent.  Please provide information regarding your student’s absences so explanations for absence can be forwarded to the County Attorney.  The County Attorney will make a determination if there has been a violation of the mandatory attendance law on a case by case basis.

Welcome to Bryan High School

Bryan High School BuildingBryan High School is located at 4700 Giles Road in Bellevue, Nebraska. The diverse student population includes students in grades 9-12. Bryan High School has built its curriculum around sixteen career clusters. Each cluster is intended to provide students with the knowledge, skills and attitudes necessary to complete high school, to begin work on a post-secondary degree or to enter the world of work. Bryan has replaced the traditional period of time by a block schedule. Instead of the standard 45-minute classes, Bryan has instituted a unique school day consisting of four 90-minute blocks of time. Students have only four classes per day and now earn in eighteen weeks the same amount of credit that would have taken a year under the traditional approach. Recent building renovations have resulted in a four-classroom addition, additional computers, and a new electronic signboard. Bryan offers its students an excellent educational program in a unique organizational format.

Mission Statement

The mission of William Jennings Bryan High School is to provide educational opportunities, which enable all students to achieve their highest potential.
