Ok, ok. Now I know I got a lot of flak for starting the Jonas Brothers club last year and some people think that's all I talk about; but if you knew me, you'd know that's not true. Now the reason I'm starting off by telling you that, is because I don't want you to think that just because today my column is about a Jonas Brother, that it's going to be like that all the time. But today I have a totally legitimate reason for talking about them.
I'll never forget when I first hear d the news. I was staying with my aunt's in New York and I had gotten on Facebook to check my inbox when right at the top of the page was a horrifying announcement that looked something like this:

Needless to say, as a Jonas fan myself, I was shocked, hurt, and angry. After all the time and energy I have spent devoting myself to being a supportive fan, and defending them when someone tried to undermine the band or their success, it was like a slap to the face.

I know what you must be thinking. "Of course you would act that way-you're like in love with them," or some of you may be thinking, "Well, if you love them so much, why aren't you being supportive?" And let me tell you, I have gone over in my mind thousands of times, back and forth, trying to tell myself that Kevy (that's my nick name for Kevin) knows what's best for him and then I'd say that he's never gonna follow through with it. But I have valid reasons for my upset.

See, here's my dilemma. As a Jonas fan, I want what's best for Kevin, I want for his happiness, but the problem is, how can we be so sure this Danielle chick is right for him? The whole courtship, which only lasted for two years (which is like two months in today's time), was a complete mystery to the public, AKA the fans until about halfway through when some pictures leaked out of Kevin with this girl kissing at the beach.

The reason it was a big secret was because the Jonas Brothers like to keep things    private as far as their personal lives go, which I totally respect. But when a Mrs. Jonas hopeful is starting to make a big enough impression on them that they consider marriage, you need to let the fans get to know her. Who better to help weed out imposters than true fans?

So really, the only thing we know about this girl is that she is a year older than Kevy, they met in the Bahamas, and she is or should I say was a hair dresser. This chic could be a money-grubbin gold digger for all we know! I mean from weaves and hair extensions to back stage passes and celebrities, you have to question her motives.

Now I could go on a huge OJD (obsessive Jonas disorder) rant right now, but I'm pretty sure you don't want to hear it, but I do have one final thing to say.

Kevy, I speak on behalf of every fan when I say that we'll support you in whatever you do but just make sure that you're not throwing your purity ring or your money on the wrong girl. We just want you to be happy, even if it means losing you to a random hair dresser.
