Students can earn an academic letter at the Blue and Gold ceremony held each spring by earning at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA in their 3rd, 5th and 7th semesters. Dual Enrollment (DE) allows academically talented students to earn transripted college credit while still at Omaha North High School. Since the 2004-05 school year, the University of Nebraska-Omaha and the Omaha Public Schools have partnered to provide this opportunity to students. The courses are the Advanced Placement courses taught at Omaha North by Omaha North staff who have been selected by UNO to be adjunct faculty
The Homework Help Room is open Monday - Thursday from 3:00 - 4:00 PM. Students can drop in and ask a quick question or stay a longer period of time for in-depth assistance with a range of academic areas. For additional information, contact the Homework Help Room Coordinator.
