What is EXCELS PLUS?

EXCELS PLUS is the strategic plan for school improvement and accreditation of the Omaha Public Schools. Closely aligned with the Aims of the District's Mission Statement, the EXCELS PLUS process is designed to help schools to:

1. Improve Student Achievement (Aim 1, High Student Achievement),
2. Promote a Safe and Secure Learning Environment (Aim 2, Safe and Secure Learning Environment) and
3. Meet Nebraska State Certification and North Central Association-Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement (NCA-CASI) Requirements.
