Omaha Public Schools has developed a support group for families of students who stutter. The support group meets in the evening several times throughout the school year. Usually, parents and students are divided into separate groups for a majority of the evening. Parents are able to talk with one another, share experiences and concerns, and ask questions to speech-language pathologists. Students enjoy playing games with one another, having conversation together, and talking with speech-language pathologists in a fun and relaxed setting. It's a great evening both students and parents enjoy.
