Welcome back to school!! It is going to be another exciting year in Room 8. 

We are going to be using the "Daily 5" in Reading and Sitton Spelling for word work.  These two programs are going to be a great way to encourage the students to read, read, read, and write, write, write.  I am excited about using the new progams. 

I am also going to attempt a mini economy program in Room 8.  We are going to start slow and hopefully it will be a success.  If you have any items that could be "sold" in the class store, we would appreciate it.

The students in Room 8 will be mainstreaming with Ms. Alseth's class again this year.  Specials, Science and Social Studies will be the content areas for mainstreaming, along with other curriculum related activities.
