Standing Bear Elementary School, home of the Cubs, is located at 15860 Taylor Street in Omaha.  It was built in 2005 and named after Chief Standing Bear.  The population includes students in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade with approximately 420 students.  Programs in Gifted and Talented, Special Education, English as a Second Language, and Speech are offered.
