Welcome to my website!
I feel privileged to be a Guidance Counselor at Skinner Magnet Center! This school year I have the opportunity to work with all students in 1st, 3rd and 5th grades.
My main purpose is to support and empower students to reach their maximum potential while supporting families and school staff. Some of the things I do include: teach classroom group guidance lessons, work with small groups, and work with individual students. The largest percentage of my time is spent going into the classrooms to teach guidance lessons. I really enjoy this as it gives me an opportunity to get to know all the students better and to empower all the students in these grade levels with skills that will help them to be successful in every area of their lives. I also invite each student in my grade levels to come and eat lunch with me in small groups throughout the year.
I am also a professional musician/producer, so I really enjoy incorporating music into my lessons and while working with students in my office. The students really seem to enjoy this!
I invite you to check back regularly as I will be adding resources to support parents and students. I look forward to supporting your child and family throughout this school year!
If you would like to contact me, my email is
