Meet the cast of "Go Fish"
Second grade students presented their musical "Go Fish" on Friday, May 3rd. They have been working hard in exploratory classes and beyond to prepare for this performance.
The cast included tiger and mako sharks, swordfish, needlefish, seahorses, red snappers, eel, clown fish, crabs, square dancers and a great white shark. They helped us to discover that it takes all kinds of fish to make the ocean a beautiful place.
Skinner Magnet Center's "pull-out" engineering students have been working on a project with the Love's Jazz and Arts Center. Along with members of the National Society of Black Engineers from North High Magnet School, students have researched, constructed, and recreated inventions of African American Inventors. Their inventions were introduced at the Love's Center on Wednesday, March 13th. This is a part of the celebration of the "African American Inventors" exhibit on display until the end of May.
