KUDOS TO SHERMAN ELEMENTARY!!!

Sherman is the recipient of a $25,000.00 grant award from Target, which was given to only a few schools throughout the United States.  These funds will be used to enhance instruction at Sherman and to help provide a safe and secure learning environment.  THANK YOU TARGET!!!

IMAGINE LEARNING AWARD

Sherman Elementary is thrilled to receive the worldwide honor of a Top 50 Imagine Learning School! Imagine Learning is a computer program that creates individualized lessons for students based on their reading needs. The program consists of videos, songs, games, and story recordings to engage students and promote reading growth. Throughout the past year, our students and staff dedicated themselves to daily usage of the program. Many of our students extended their school day by participating in Imagine Learning before school. Each day, our computer lab and ESL classroom were completely full with engaged learners!
