Welcome to Pre-Kindergarten
We are so excited to be back for another fun year! This is Mrs. Reynolds' 4th year at Saratoga, and she is joined by Ms. McDowell for her 2nd year. We have so much planned for the year, and we know that we will all learn alot!

Upcoming Themes
In September, we spent time learning about school and friends. We also learned about why we are all special and unique in our own ways. We focused on learning our colors and began learning how to sort and make patterns.
In October, we will talk about the season of Fall. We will also learn about pumpkins, apples, and our emotions!
Language Arts
We are working hard to recognize our first names and to write them as well.
We are all very excited to start learning the letters of the alphabet! So far, we have met Polly Panda, Uncle Upton, and Ollie Ostrich. We will meet more of their friends as the year progresses, as well as continue writing/illustrating class books and making sentences!
Math
We have spent alot of time on learning our colors. We will begin working on shapes and numbers soon! During circle time, we are learning to count each name tag only once, as well as making patterns on the calendar.
Reminders
- School is from 8:55-3:45. Please make sure your students are on time and ready to learn, as well as picked up on time. Students must be dropped off in the classroom by an adult, 18 or older, and picked up by a trusted adult (name must be provided in writing unless in an emergency).
- Please remember to send a backpack daily! We send papers home every few days, and want to make sure that they are safe getting home.

September 25 - Family Fun Day! Parents are invited for a morning of fun from 9:00-11:30.
September 26 & 27 - No Students!
October 7 - Picture Day!
October 22 & 23 - Conferences
October 24 - No School!
