September has been a  busy month at Saratoga.  After establishing routines and procedures within classrooms, classrooms jumped right into our district and state practice exams.  Fourth Grade just completed the Fall Writing exam and students in Grades Third through Sixth just completed the Acuity Practice Test.  Congratulations to all the classrooms on a job well done.

As you may know Parent -Teacher Conferences are fast approaching.  If you were unable to sign up for a time at Open House please contact your child's teacher as soon as possible to set up a time to meet.  Parent Teacher Conferences will be held on October 21st from 4:00- 8:00pm and on October 22nd from 1:00 - 7:30pm. 

As you may have heard by now Omaha Public Schools has adopted a new report card for students in Kindergarten through Sixth.  On October 7th at 4:00pm I will be holding a meeting for anyone interested in learning more information on what to look for and how to read the new report card at First quarter Conferences.  Look for more information coming home in your October newsletter.

Just a reminder there will be no school on:

September 25th:  TEAM Planning Day / Elementary Only

September 28th:  Curriculum Day

October 22nd:  No School Parent / Teacher Conferences

October 23rd:  No School
