Omaha Community Learning Center Goals

• Provide academic and social enrichment activities for youth and adults in identified socioeconomic areas where academic achievement is below national standards
• Provide a safe and secure academic and enrichment program for all youth before and after school and during the summer

Decrease the academic gap performance of various socioeconomic and ethnic groups

Provide a guided environment to foster youth towards positive behavior

Services provided by CLC are targeted on the needs of the students, the  families, and the community where the program is located

• Provide families a feeling of continuity with their neighborhood

• Provide a variety of family involvement activities:

Adult education
Support classes
Center for community services
Year round meeting place
