This year 5th graders will explore the theme of STRUCTURES in depth and across the curriculum. Activities will include math, art, science, language arts and lots of building challenges.
Curriculum will focus on the following generalizations:
- The word "structure" has multiple meanings.
- There are many kinds of structures in the world.
- Analyzing structures may help us understand the world better.
- Understanding structures may help us prepare for or even prevent future problems.
