Prairie Wind Elementary School first opened its doors in August, 1994, with 463 students. The school is located at 10908 Ellison Avenue and serves the students in the northwest region of Omaha, Nebraska. For the 2004-05 school year, our enrollment has grown to 674 students ranging from Kindergarten to 6th graders. We have a staff of 70 currently serving our students.

Prairie Wind has a staff dedicated to opening the doors of opportunity for student success through the highest standards in academics and citizenship.
