Welcome to Dickmeyer and Young's 5/6 Classroom

The Omaha Public Library now offers Live Homework Help, an online tutoring service from Tutor.com, that connects students to expert tutors (without charge) in math, science, social studies, and English via the Internet.

This free service allows students with a library card to connect to an expert    tutor either from computers at one of Omaha Public Library's locations or from   any computer with an Internet connection, every day from 2 to 9 p.m.  Students simply go to the Library's website omahapubliclibrary.org, click on "You've Got   Homework" and then enter grade level and subject.

Step by step instructions for Tutor.com

1.  Visit

2. Click on Live Homework Help

3. Enter library card number

4. Select grade level

5. Select subject

6. Click connect

7.  There may be a short wait period and then the Tutor will pop up and the student can begin to interact with their Tutor using the chat feature and the online white board.

Big thank you to all the students and their families for the supplies- we still would love tissue and loose leaf paper.

Also remember students are allowed to bring water bottles to class.  We do sell water for 50¢ .
