Math workshop will be the only time in the school day when students are split by grade level.  Ms. Hibbard will teach 3rd grade math, Mrs. Schuchardt will teach 4th grade math.  Both grade levels use the Harcourt Math Series.

 

During this block of time students will spend a part of the hour working in a small group with the teacher.  The rest of the hour will be spent working on assignments or on an enrichment activity.  These activities can include:
    * Math games    * flash card practice    * computer math
    * Calculators    * paper & pencil practice

Assessment:
Students will be assessed using the Harcourt assessments which include:
    * Chapter and unit tests
    * Daily assignments
    * Projects
    * District CRT tests
