Parents and community,

Our first month of school is over and we are off to a great start. 

We have been introduced to writing personal narratives, reading for comprehension, addition and subtraction with regrouping, the science of heat, light and sound, and the basic geology of Nebraska.

We've had two great field trips.  One to the Annual Pow-Wow to learn about Native American Culture and another to River City Roundup.

Our year has just begun and there are so many good things to come.
